A DENVER BATHROOM TRANSFORMATION

The Starting Point

The existing maple cabinetry had served this Denver bathroom well, but its warm, dated finish was ready for an update. The homeowners wanted a cleaner, brighter look without the expense and disruption of replacing cabinets that were still in good condition.

With 11 cabinet doors and drawer fronts to transform, professional cabinet painting offered the perfect solution. By preserving the existing cabinetry and updating the finish, we could give the bathroom a fresh new appearance while maintaining its original layout.

A Fresh Start with Decorator's White

For this bathroom makeover, the homeowners selected Benjamin Moore Decorator's White, a crisp, clean white with subtle cool undertones.

Moving away from the original maple finish immediately gave the cabinetry a brighter, more updated appearance. Decorator's White is a beautiful option for bathrooms because it creates a fresh, timeless look that complements a variety of countertops, flooring, and hardware finishes.

Our professional preparation and finishing process helped transform the existing cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and boxes into a cohesive, smooth painted finish—without the need for a complete cabinet replacement.

It's All In the Details: Hardware Hole Repair

A beautiful cabinet transformation isn't just about the paint color. It's also about the preparation and attention to detail that happen before the first coat of primer.

For this project, we repaired and filled existing hardware holes to create a smooth, seamless surface. Our process involves gluing wood dowels into the original holes, trimming them flush, sanding, applying filler to eliminate any remaining imperfections, and sanding again before priming and painting.

This careful preparation allows the old hardware locations to disappear beneath the new finish, giving the doors and drawer fronts a clean, professionally updated appearance.

Professional Preparation. Beautiful Results.

Achieving a beautiful painted cabinet finish starts long before the final coat of paint.

We carefully removed and labeled the bathroom cabinet doors and drawer fronts before taking them to our Westminster shop. There, each piece was thoroughly cleaned, sanded, primed, and professionally spray-painted to create a smooth, consistent finish.

Meanwhile, the existing cabinet boxes were prepared and painted on-site, without spraying inside the home.

Once the finishing process was complete, we reinstalled the doors, drawer fronts, and hardware, bringing the entire bathroom transformation together. drawer was installed with soft-close glides and the newly painted front was installed to match the rest of the kitchen, giving the homeowners a fully functional and beautiful result.
